  Duties include identifying relevant information and updates from government publications, researching additional sources of information, proofreading documents and dealing with customer enquiries regarding technical content.I review the government journals/gazettes of various countries around the world. The journals contain the text of all new and amended laws and regulations that affect our vehicle manufacturer clients. I identify and extract the relevant texts and mark up the documents for word processing. Many journals are not published in English so liaison with translators will be required. The documents are proofread and then published to our website using a content management system. I need to show initiative in finding official sources of relevant information and obtaining copyright approval. This will involve extensive internet research, lateral thinking and liaison with government officials and translators.I also deal with customers’ requests for new content or clarification of content.
