  Jeff founded Square Mile in 2006. Square Mile (now Affinius Capital) is a private investment management firm with a focus on real estate and real estate related opportunities. As an independent firm through 2021, Square Mile took a value oriented approach to its investment activities, with an emphasis on opportunities to acquire or capitalize assets and enterprises that were undervalued, overlooked, complex or mispriced. As of 2023, Square Mile managed over $10 billion in capital committed to various credit, value add equity, and opportunistic equity funds and vehicles on behalf of its principals and a diverse group of institutional investors.In March 2012, USAA Real Estate acquired a significant minority ownership interest in Square Mile in conjunction with the establishment of a strategic partnership between Square Mile and USAA RE. In December 2020, USAA RE completed the purchase of Jeff’s remaining ownership interest in Square Mile. Subsequently in March 2023, Square Mile and USAA RE completed the final integration of the two investment management platforms under a new corporate brand name, Affinius Capital.
