Under supervised training I provided Engineering services in a variety of projects that led to advancing developments and increased efficiency of the company's everyday procedures. Of these projects, the most significant was the Laminar Flow Cooling System. My involvement included practical calculations, data acquisition from the field, and ultimately input towards the feasibility of the project. Completing my scheduled itinerary prior to the end of the internship, I continued to develop a well-rounded Engineering point of view of the mechanical aspects of the mill by volunteering to work with the maintenance department. This included, and was not limited to, aiding employees during time sensitive outages, evaluating technical process equipment, and preventative maintenance work. Show less

As the owner of Jeff's Lawn Service I developed from the age of 15 the practices of operating, maintaining, and expanding a business. I increased my clientele by reaching out to new people and offering my services in a face-to-face approach. Through my development, I acquired the understanding of financing income as an investment opportunity to purchase more professional machinery that would ultimately provide a higher quality of service. Employees were hired with the expectation to comply with Personal Protection Equipment practices, participate in constructive safety discussions, and to uphold the concept of work ethic based reward.
