Jeff served as an intern for the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC). He worked under my direction in areas such as event management, broadcaster, and sports information. He did an excellent job communicating with volunteers and event workers and coordinating efforts in order to put on our championships. He also was responsible for running our live webcast and was our on air talent bringing live video and audio to our viewers. He will make a great athletic administrator.

I'm currently working in purchasing and am in control of making sure our plumbers, fitters, and tinners on job sites have material when they need it. I meet and work with our vendors and wholesalers closely to make sure they are meeting the needs of our company. I am currently in charge of the following: ordering material, matching confirmations to purchase orders, monitoring back orders, setting up couriers, ensuring accuracy of purchase orders, and returns to our vendors. It requires extremely strong organization and communication skills, which have always been strengths of mine.

Developed, lead, and executed new purchasing strategies & negotiation tactics to close deals and increase net profit while forecasting levels of demand. Our buying group we are a part of went from number 305 out of 345 in 2014 to number 3 out of 345 in 2015. We moved from the bottom 12% to the top 1% because of my strategies. Supported four outside salesman’s efforts to increase revenue for our company. Saw an increase in sales from $2.6 million in 2014 to $3.2 million in 2015, which was a direct result of my efforts. Responsible for all purchasing, inventory control, inside sales, account management, forecasting, business strategies, and vendor relationships while providing leadership to the warehouse and office manager positions. Organized and streamlined our Quick Books data, setting min’s and maxes for ordering purposes on thousands of sku’s. This had a positive impact on inventory levels and made purchasing much more efficient. Interviewed, hired, and guided the development of our warehouse manager and tool repair technician positions.

I cover over 300 Minnesota and Wisconsin high school boys and girls hockey teams and play a serious role into the success of their Hockey Hub web site properties (mnhockeyhub.com, mngirlshockeyhub.com). My work consists of taking score sheets and entering them into a live scoring software application called SPORT NGIN LIVE. I enter data on a play-by-play basis to recreate the game play-for-play and build player stats for each player. Additionally I collect scores from other sources if coaches do not submit their game statistics.
