      [Globespanvirata merged with Conexant Systems] Conexant Systems Inc. is one of the world leaders of semiconductor solutions for broadband communications and enterprise networks. Initial task involved the integration of two 10/100 Ethernet MACs and PHY into a 166MHz, dual ARM9 processor device. A new method of verification was adapted, namely Verilog-to-C (VtoC), allowing software drivers to be tested on pre-synthesised RTL and real hardware platforms. This method of verification was successfully used on a number of silicon products. This verification method became invaluable when I became the Validation lead for this product, performing all steps necessary to take it to Final Qualification. A more recent task involved the integration of two fully compliant USB2.0 cores and PHYs into a 300MHz, dual ARM10 processor device. Selected Achievements: • Integration, verification and synthesis of 10/100 Ethernet MACs for a 0.18um TSMC silicon process. • Development and support of a fully automated VtoC environment on a number of silicon products. • Managed high volume, 0.18um silicon product tape-out through to final qualification, achieving multi-million pounds customer sales. • Full integration, verification and synthesis two USB2.0 cores and USB2.0 PHYs for a 0.13um TSMC silicon process.
