Jeff’s talents and creativity are undeniable. So is his love for design as a profession and craft. He also happens to be an absolutely delightful person to work with. We worked together for 2 years in a broadcast design environment. He has a wide range of skills across the adobe suite, 3D rendering/modeling, illustrating and the guy can make a mean salad. Jeff would be a valuable addition to any design team.

Happy to recommend Jeff for any new job. Jeff and I worked together at Image West Apparel, a full service screen print company, where I was his manager and direct supervisor in the art department. Jeff was honest, dependable, and hard-working. A quick learner, self-motivated and an impressive problem solver. He always had a positive attitude and a very creative mind. Jeff's portfolio included a vast array of styles, showing his proficiency with all media. Tech savvy and current with all new computer technologies, he was an asset in the art department and would be a good fit for any environment. Regards, John Fankhauser 720-427-9561

Instructor at Red Rocks Community College - 15 week courses. Included lesson plans, lectures, homework assignments, tests/quizzes and final projects worthy of portfolio presentation. - Digital Color Theory - This course explores the concepts of color theory in the traditional sense as well as a modern take on how color works in a digital environment and how color fits into our social environment and decision making process. - Photoshop I - A level one class geared toward explaining the basics of Photoshop using the Adobe Classroom in a Book as a starting point and taking each lesson one step further by putting the concepts and techniques into practice on personal projects. - Photoshop II - A second level Photoshop class that delves deeper into keyboard shortcuts, advanced layering, masking and achieving certain effects that take the student's work to the next level and teach them how to think about creating compositions in Photoshop that make the most of this tool and allow them to take on bigger challenges with more confidence. - Painter for Digital Media - Painter is an alternative to Photoshop but doesn't focus on photo editing and technical aspects as much as free expression. At the time of writing, the program still stands out for it's ability to realistically replicate a wide gamut of media and excels at certain effects like the Auto-Paint function, Hose brushes, and extensive and intuitive color and brush controls. - Introduction to Computer Graphics - An intro class that first teaches concepts of workflow and user interface tips and tricks of the Mac, then offers a quick primer of a variety of creative software. Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Audition, Premiere Pro, and After Effects are all covered on a limited basis. Expose students to creative software and get them using it. Show less

As the Manager of Creative Services, I designed, illustrated, managed and organized all of the digital art assets and served as the man with the solutions for all art-related creation or production questions at ImageSeller. The role suited my diverse skills perfectly and allowed me to excel as a designer and deliver outstanding results for the company and their clients. At ImageSeller, I had the pleasure of beating many challenging goals and deadlines. - Brainstormed and plotted creative direction and then manifested those visions as production ready files across all media. - Organize and maintain the company's graphics, forms/templates, illustrations, photography, web design, print production, and video production assets while keeping up with emails and daily design jobs as well as long-term projects, seasonal projects, speculative work and managing Creative Services Interns. - Solved production issues reliably and quickly (and prevented many more) acting as a "Swiss knife of designers" drawing on my experience creating production art and branding collateral for a variety of industries including: embroidery, t-shirts and apparel, promotional merchandise, barware, and point of sale items. - Produced and edited promotional videos with photos, video and motion graphics for an annual week-long convention of clients. - Communicated closely with other design agencies who provided collateral for branding and marketing across different segments of advertising including TV and print. I integrated the work of these other designers with mine to maintain a unified brand. - Drove a comprehensive vision of marketing and branding and managed the entire graphic design pipeline through from the concept and idea sessions, through changes, to production art, and finally printed and manufactured products that we sold, and that sold our client's brands.
