Eccovia Solutions is a SaaS (Software as a service) company selling a product that helps connect health services and social services. I had the opportunity to work closely with our CEO to evaluate financial performance to ensure the company is on track to reach both short and long-term goals.Upon the retirement of Eccovia's long time CFO, I was able to step in and fulfill his responsibilities while simultaneously continuing to fulfill the responsibilities as the Controller. Cementation USA is a mining contractor and is a subsidiary of Murray & Roberts, a publicly traded company headquartered in South Africa. At Cementation I was able to become familiar with IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) as I coordinated financial statement consolidation between the company's subsidiaries and parent companies.I was the main point of contact for all financial audits and reviews. Working for Nu Skin gave me the great opportunity to work in the accounting department of a large publicly traded company. I quickly became familiar with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and many of the requirements necessary for Sarbanes-Oxley compliance. I maintained monthly support documents for both internal and external auditors. I was the main point of contact for Nu Skin subsidiaries in Venezuela, Central America, and Mexico.
