I acted as Product Owner for collaboration applications for online education. I regularly met with K-12 and college administrators and instructors to understand what they want and expect, as well as getting feedback from students about our app (and the competition). I trained our sales team about our features / value proposition as well as took their feedback about what they need to close. I determined product goals that would best affect our bottom line (short term and long term) and roadmapped with engineering what we needed to do to get there. With great teamwork between the sales team and my project's engineers, I took a prototype of one app to it's first $100,000 of revenue.
