REEL Mcr are a unique production company that use the process of drama and film production as a creative tool to educate, motivate and inspire under-resourced communities. Unlike other 'community' film companies, REEL Mcr use professional equipment and crew and combine experience actors with non-actors to create high quality 'mini-feature films'. Established professionals like John Henshall, Steve Hillman, Neil Bell and the late Tom Charnock have all graced the screen of a REEL Mcr premier. I have worked with REEL Mcr for almost ten years as a writer, director, workshop faciliator and actor! In that time we have produced several films together including Gas and Air, GROUNDED, Madhouse, The Lost Boy and A Wicked Trade.
