For me, Jeff is one of those few relationships where you may have only worked together for a couple of years, but it seems like you've known each other much longer. He's easy to work with and talk to, easily sees a way forward from where we are to where we think we need to go and is comfortable taking a leadership role, but willing to take a support role if and when it makes sense. One of the things I've appreciated about Jeff is that he's willing to disagree with you while also being willing to explore other perspectives at the same time. Daily examples include defining a business problem to later redefine it as we learn more; defining solution paths to later pivot as data suggests our original ideas were good, but there are others that are better; and being willing to embed inside extreme programming, test-driven development, continuous delivery teams to discover and evolve ideas in frequent, small bursts rather than birthing a document from the Library of Congress and seeking worship of said document as payment to exist. Jeff is practical, willing to work, very experienced in defining and moving product to market, as well as, very experienced working with delivery teams. I enjoy working with Jeff because he knows how to do his job, has experience enabling him to teach, but is also teachable, has ears that hear, knows how to communicate well and pursues solutions as a team. Jeff is one of those guys that doesn't have to be the smartest guy in the room or the person with all of the attention showered upon him. He simply does his job.
