Working with Jeff was both fun and hugely rewarding. I joined Jeff’s team as he was EMEA SVP at the time, on a 3 year mission to return the region to profitable growth and set it on a solid footing for consistent double digit returns thereafter. I was also lucky enough to sit by Jeff and he was a constant source of fun and professionalism rolled into one which gives him a very warm, natural and sincere air. Jeff is one of the best leaders I have served because he has an ability to ask penetrating questions that completely expose gaps in your own thinking whilst in the same stroke, helping you feel totally calm, in control and confident in your ability to grow personally and deliver even more professionally. He has a rare ability to place real trust and belief in those around him and creates an atmosphere and culture that enables one to step outside your comfort zone with confidence to get the job done your way. Yet, he is never out of touch and always there at the right moment to provide a guidance or support that sets you back on the right path and he rarely makes the decision for you which I appreciate greatly. What I valued most about Jeff, beyond his sincere interest and support for my personal growth, was his approach to high pressure situations and dealing with curve balls. Regardless of the context or timing, Jeff seemed completely un-phased and with a few questions and recommendations, all was soon back in hand. To me, Jeff is one of those leaders who is sincerely happy to see you thrive and succeed without at all wishing to take any credit and, in-fact, was always willing to put himself in harms way to bridge any of my own mistakes. Jeff truly cares about the development of the people around him and will go out of his way to ensure they succeed. I learnt a good deal from Jeff and will always be grateful for the opportunity, guidance and freedom he offered me.

I really enjoyed working for Jeff as part of his leadership team on two occasions: first when he steered a newly formed $100m Global Sales Org to Plan 2 years straight. Second time, when Jeff took on an under performing $40m region and turned it back on a growth path. I learned and developed a lot during this time — setting strategy, accurate regional forecasting, leveraging data to inform decisions and more... Jeff gave me autonomy to drive my own business but equally offered constant insights and advice on ways to improve or think different.
