Bio
Thomas DeAngelis
Jeff is continually learning – a true student of the science of football, and of the art of coaching it. In my very first experiences with Jeff, under very difficult circumstances, his over-riding desire was to learn how he could be a better, more effective coach at Bishop McDevitt. And he’s never let up on that. He learns all the time, from all his experiences, and his results prove it. And the great thing is, he expects everyone who works with him, coaches and players, to be continually learning too. Jeff promotes the success of the guys who coach with him, and play for him. He goes the extra mile for his players. And he expects more from them than just growing physical strength, speed and performance on the field. He also requires his players to grow mentally and spiritually stronger, faster and perform at increasingly higher levels too. As athletes at Bishop McDevitt, he expects them to be both warriors and gentlemen. He expects them to be outstanding individual performers as their highest contribution to their teammates and coaches. And he expects them to do all that, every day, with all the intensity and the gifts that God has given them. I appreciate the opportunity to work with him, in helping his athletes grow into great men – on and off the field.
