These services and programs will be made available through WBD Service Company, LLC ("WBDSC"), a wholly-owned subsidiary of WBD, Inc. Lender Training initiatives will continue to reach WBD's traditional bank and credit union lending institutions, but will now be expanded to include local revolving loan funds, minority Chambers of Commerce, and SBA Community Advantage lenders. The desired outcomes of these training efforts will include raising awareness and understanding of SBA Loan Programs; providing best practices for managing an SBA loan portfolio; and helping lenders understand how to position their clients for an SBA credit solution. Lender Services is focused the delivery of SBA 7(a) lending services to institutions that have engaged in a formal Lender Services Provider agreement ("LSP") with WBDSC for SBA loan packaging; electronic submission assistance; pre-closing and/or post-closing loan assistance; and loan servicing support. Managing the expectations and experience of LSP clients is paramount. WBDSC will move to toward supporting the needs of Intermediary Lending organizations located in the markets it serves. Examples of Intermediary Lenders include local revolving loan funds, SBA Community Advantage lenders, minority Chambers of Commerce, and other economic development organizations. Services to Intermediary Lenders may include SBA and business credit training, back-office loan operations support, and loan and/or credit administration support.

The cornerstone of WBD's success has been derived from its delivery of the SBA 504 product throughout the state of Wisconsin and eastern Minnesota. Across the United States, not-for-profit Certified Development Companies (CDC) are responsible for delivery of the SBA 504 loan product, which fulfills the U.S. Small Business Administration’s (SBA) public policy objective of supporting small businesses and job creation through long-term, fixed-rate financing. In addition to the SBA 504 product, through its other affiliates, WBD provides SBA consulting & training, SBA 7(a) loan packaging services, and direct loans through the SBA Community Advantage loan progra. These additional value-added services allow WBD to leverage its knowledge, service and solutions to be "Your Business Finance Resource." Since 1981, WBD has helped fund over 2,000 businesses and create nearly 64,000 jobs! In fiscal 2016, WBD provided 123 SBA 504 loans totaling $104.8MM, which placed WBD in the top ten among CDCs nationwide.
