Hooked up with JSR in April of 96 after Brockum was absorbed by another merch giant. Was quickly able to use my experience and relationships from the merchandising world along with similar help from my future business partners to help turn JSR into one of the most exciting merch companies in the country. As we head into 2017, JSR is proud to be working with some of entertainments most important acts; Jackson Browne, CSN, Eddie Izzard, Minor League Baseball, Cartoon Network, ACDC, Pink Floyd just to name a few of our 400 plus acts Show less

      • Dec 1988 - Apr 1996

I'm now off to spend 200 nights a year traveling the world selling R&R merchandise for the biggest merch company in the world. Some of my clients who I toured with included; Guns and Roses, Faith No More, The Allman Bros, Metallica, Neil Young and Jethro Tull just to name a few. Responsibilities included touring with the artist and overseeing all aspects of their merchandising sales. Settling shows, maintaining inventories, moving inventory from one city to another and working directly with the client on developing designs Show less

Joined AFM to help manage John Cafferty and Beaver Brown during the exciting years of Eddie and The Cruisers and their follow up records. Largely involved with day to day communication with radio and print media from the office, as well as, spending time on the road with the constantly touring multiplatinum selling artist. We later acquired other artists that included ; Kenny Vance, Robert Hazard, Robert Tepper and Peter Himmelman. Highlights included helping to coordinate and traveling with Peter to the then Soviet Union. We spent 2 months traveling through Central Asia playing shows and seeking kosher food and Temples where few westerners had played before Show less

    • The Radio Years
      • Feb 1979 - Sep 1985

It all began in a 500 Watt radio station in beautiful Wickford RI. Pleasant adult comtempory music and local farm reports though were short lived as I quickly moved over to and received my music education in Westerly RI. Able to jump on the air waves with a complete freeform format and my Rolling Stone R&R guide to learn every record worth listening to on WERI. This lead to a Nighttime air slot and hired as Music Director of one of the most influential AOR Radio stations in the country, WHJY. I helped launch the station in 1981 and will be forever remembered as the 2nd person to speak on its airwaves. 4 years of R&R heaven Show less
