Apache iX support both Defence Digital (DD) & Defence Equipment & Support (DE&S) programmes - Jeff's recent assignments have covered: Defensive Cyber Operations Business Case Management - the DD DCO Programme is a CAT A Cyber Initiative to protect all MODs' information systems from attack. The Business Case requirement has necessitated significant Options Analysis, Cost Modelling and Expert Judgement panel facilitation to establish the correct level of funding for the overall programme to the satisfaction of the Scrutineers and Assurance requirements. Two successful business cases have been achieved to date wit a third currently in progress. KPMG CAAS Support on DE&S Cost Analysis & Assurance Tasks: Review of multiple Business Cases across all domains as a member of the CAAS Cost Assurance Team Investigation of Single Source cost estimates - direct & overheads on CAT A programme Development of a Project Manager & CAM Handbook for the DE&S Transformation Programme P3M Liaison with the DE&S Functions to develop enterprise wide coherence. Review of the TCW MBDA Portfolio from a Project Controls & Commercial perspective. Independent Estimate at Completion of the Carrier Programme supporting PR-ICE. Instructor to DE&S Commercial Staff on their Cost & Pricing Assessment Course (CPAC). Price Investigation of Weapons Test & Evaluation CAT A Programme. Cost Engineering SME & Technical Coach supporting the MODs costing function. In contract performance assurance on the QEC Carrier Programme using EVM assessment. UK Shipyard future rates investigation. Successful challenge of the Aircraft Carrier's risk contingency during the £6.2Bn re-baseline negotiations. Show less
