As an ordnance specialist my major function was to be a logistical technician dealing with any and all NATO ordnance. Particular aspects of this role included the receiving, storage and issuing of conventional ammunition, guided missiles, large rockets and other weapon related items. I also performed maintenance, modification and inspections. In addition, I utilized computer hardware and software as well as manual records to perform stock control and accounting procedures. Ordnance Sergeant- At the sergeant level I supervised lower grade ammunition specialists and provided technical guidance to the soldiers in the accomplishment of the above duties. Additional duties/accomplishments included being appointed as Sergeant of the Guard for the 189th Ordnance Company where I was responsible for securing Ammunition Supply Points at Balad Air Base in Balad, Iraq. Furthermore I accompanied Explosive Ordnance Disposal units on missions to demolish captured enemy weapons and to demilitarize damaged NATO ordnance and ammunition. This shows discipline and precise execution of orders given in a dangerous and stressful environment Show less

Sales Experience- U.S. Army (2000-2003)- Graduated Army Recruiter Course at Ft. Jackson, SC. My three years as a recruiter has given me the confidence to speak to anyone, including all levels of management. I can answer questions calmly and professionally, even in difficult situations. I learned to become the subject matter expert in order to provide prospects with clear and detailed information as well as answer any questions and respond to objections. I generated leads by both telephone and face-to-face prospecting from designated high schools, colleges, and universities. Interviewing, conducting background checks and processing new recruits was a must and helped me develop my human resources skills needed in all management levels." Show less
