Mr. Mathews has worked in various positions in the construction materials testing inspections for more than 24 years. He has extensive experience both managing and testing highway and bridge construction in accordance with TxDot standards. Also, he has been responsible for testing soils, concrete, asphalt, post tension, reinforcing steel, spray applied fireproofing, and masonry materials as required by ASTM/AASHTO standards. In addition, Mr. Mathews has been responsible for the observation of auger cast piles, drilled piers, water/lime injection procedures, mass grading cut and fill operations. In the lab, he has extensive experience in testing soils, and concrete. Currently, as GES’ CMT Manager, Mr. Mathews is responsible for test report preparation and review, and managing daily activities in the field and laboratory. Mr. Mathews interacts with client and contractor representatives on a daily basis
