Directs quantitative risk analysis (QRA) studies, consequence analysis studies, and facility siting studies involving refineries or refinery units, toxic and flammable gas pipeline systems, oil and natural gas production systems, LPG import/export terminals, LNG import/export terminals, gas treatment and processing plants, reinjection systems, and road/rail transportation systems. Development, design, and use of the CANARY by Quest® consequence modeling package to perform vapor dispersion, explosion, and fire radiation calculations. Responsible for programming and maintaining computer codes in CANARY, and in the CANARY+ risk quantification programs. Instructor or co-instructor for several of Quest’s short courses, including Risk Analysis Methodology, Liquefied Gas Safety, LNG Safety Technology and Inspection, and Introduction to Consequence Analysis. Instructor for CANARY by Quest software training. Facilitated or scribed team meetings for HAZOP, What-If?, and HAZID studies, for gas gathering/separation/treatment facilities, LNG facilities, LPG storage/distribution facilities, and various other petrochemical processes.
