I have had few mentors in my career, but Jeff was my first and arguably the best. My path to the creative department started in project management, where few people give you the time of day. Thankfully Jeff was not only willing to listen to my plight, he helped groom my skills so I could eventually make the transition. For that, I am internally grateful. Jeff can't help being charismatic, it is as effortless to him as breathing. He ingratiates himself and quickly wins over everyone he meets. And the way he treats a client is the same way he treats one of his direct reports - respect, responsiveness and good humor. Creatively Jeff is a "what if'fer..." We would share initial concepts for a project and this would beget, "what if the guy says this..." We would be at final production for a project and that would beget, "what if the girl did that..." It can be frustrating in the moment, but Jeff's thoughtful inquisitiveness always had a purpose that improved the final piece and made the most of a "teachable moment." Jeff is an excellent helmsman for anyone's ship and crew.
