Police Officer
-
Jul 2017 - Apr 2018
Worked as Police Officer in the city of Newport Beach. I trained on patrol tactics daily while using my training and experience to contact individuals in and around the City of Newport Beach. I was knowledgeable in Department policy, city Municipal codes and State Law. Some of the biggest things I learned in my time with the Department were how to handle stressful situations and how to prioritize my work load in order to finish in a timely manner.

Charity Long Drive Specialist
-
Jun 2001 - May 2016
I have worked in several golf tournament charity events as a Long Driver. I have been able to utilize a God-given talent as an opportunity to give back. Groups playing in these charity events pay me to hit their golf balls as far as I can down the fairway and the funds go directly back to the organization running the tournament. In 2009, I was fortunate enough to have qualified for the ReMax World Long Drive Championships.

Baseball Coach
-
Sep 2008 - May 2009
Aliso Viejo, CA I coached the Freshman Baseball team and had a blast. I loved having the opportunity to coach and pass down the many things I learned during my baseball career to the next generations of baseball players. Having the chance to take things I learned from the great coaches I had and mold them into my own coaching style was extremely rewarding.

Fullerton, CA I was fortunate to have Hall of Fame New York Mets and Montreal Expos catcher, Gary Carter as my Manager. He taught me many things but none more importantly than coming into work everyday ready to go and work hard. He always told our team this because he said, you never know who is behind you, ready to take your job. Don’t take anything for granted.

Rancho Cucamonga Quakes I was extremely fortunate to have signed a Free-Agent contract with the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. Having lived in Southern CA for most of my life, it was a dream come true. One of the many things I learned from playing with this great organization was to always present yourself in a way fitting of the team. No matter where you went, whether in your uniform or not, you represented your team and organization and you needed to act accordingly.

Professional Baseball Player

May 2005 - Jul 2007
Long Beach, CA I played for Darrell Evans who was in the Major Leagues for 21 years. He said the reason why he was able to play for so long was because he took care of himself. He knew without doing so, his career would have gone nowhere. I learned in order to work for a long time and to be successful, taking care of your body is one thing that will be a key to making that happen.
