  Served at Navy Legal Services Office Norfolk as a prosecutor trying 106 courts-martial with 105 convictions ranging from military-specific offenses such as unauthorized absence to a capital murder case. Thereafter, served as the Department Head for the Legal Assistance Department at the same command. I was transferred in 1995 to serve as the Staff Judge Advocate to Commander, Amphibious Group TWO at Naval Amphibious Base Little Creek. After I resigned my commission in 1998, I affiliated with the U.S. Navy Reserve in 1999 and was assigned to the Navy Reserve Unit that supported the Commander, U.S. Sixth Fleet in Gaeta, Italy.
