Designed, developed, and tested a client/server-based Java Element Manager application that interfaced with proprietary test head hardware to perform a variety of POTS and DSL testing on conventional phone lines. The GUI was developed using Java's Swing/AWT libraries. Wrote all of the embedded SQL logic for the back-end Oracle DB using JDBC. Designed, wrote, debugged, and tested C/C++ planning and scheduling software for a large-scale real-time command and control system for the U.S. Department of Defense. I was involved in every phase of the software development life cycle from requirements design to delivery. I later served as the Mission Application Lead (MAL) for a team of 10 software engineers during the Integration, Checkout, and test (IC&T) phase, and also the delivery phase of the project on-site. Delivered more than 2 mission lines of C/C++ code. Continued on-site in the MAL role role during the maintenance phase of the project to provide technical guidance, coordinate team priorities and assignments, and act as a mentor to the newer members of the team. I received three Mission Success awards for my work.
