All of the above schemes form part of a continuing multi million pound upgrade and refurbishment scheme currently being undertaken at the site, the combined value of the above schemes for Nomenca are valued at approx 5.5 million pounds. Career progression from maintenance fitter to works engineering manager within 9 years. Roles & Responsibilities: Responsible to the directors for the running of the maintenance and engineering department comprising of 4No. fitters and 4 No. electricians. Duties included introduction of planned preventative maintenance, programme, procurement of spares and equipment, H&S, QA, finance reporting to the managing director, control of yearly budget. In addition to these duties I scheduled a three shift roster system which operated 24 / 7 which included myself as being on call at all times and also included for the use of subcontractors to carry out specialist activities. This position of works engineering manager had been attained by working my way up from shift fitter and during this time the Company underwent a complete re build following a fire. Show less
