Tony Eyles
When we set up the ResLife university student engagement program in 2019, Jedd was one of the original team. We applied lessons learned for planning the 2020 academic year, but then Covid hit and compromised the whole events calendar, dictating that everything needed to be delivered online. It is true to say that without Jedd, ResLife 2020 would not of been the success it was, helping support students self isolating who had limited opportunities for social engagement. Jedd is engaging, committed, organised and patiently has a flair for events management. He managed a team of 10 ResLife assistants ensuring delivery of a comprehensive schedule of events and adapted the provision to match the government guidance of the time. For the 2021 academic year Jedd planned and organised the delivery of 26 events in the first month alone and ensured the team were fully trained and prepared to deliver them. I am very sad to see Jedd go but not in the slightest bit surprised that others are keen to secure his skill sets.

Jedrzej Kuliś was one of six student-staff members to join the Residence Life (ResLife) team in FXPlus, which I managed from its inception until January 2020. Jedd was chosen to join the team based on his events planning experience and administration skills; both of which he delivered brilliantly and beyond our expectation. Jedd very quickly demonstrated himself to be a reliable, motivated, and enthusiastic team player which was matched by his attention to detail and commitments to high standards of implementation and execution. Whilst Jedd is clearly a strong team player who is dedicated to delivering to a remarkable standard, he is also a leader. Our relationship very quickly moved to one of a team member who I could depend on in a deputising fashion for advice, guidance, and support with the development of the events programme, marketing plans, and administrative delivery. Lastly, I want to note Jedd’s outstanding focus on his personal and professional development; in my, albeit short career, I have not known an individual who is able to take on board feedback and guidance as quickly and constructively as Jedd. For all of these reasons, I could not recommend Jedd more highly. Any organisation should hold him to the highest of standards in anything that is required of him for he will already hold himself to those same high standards. I truly cannot wait to watch his brilliant career flourish.
