      While at ICS, I worked on every stage of system development for several large domestic and international telecommunication companies. My primary responsibilities during this time were in the areas of order processing and message processing, but I also participated in the development of two billing systems. For all of these systems, I designed, developed, and tested programs. My areas of responsibility included: Managing the development and implementation of the Order Processing batch subsystem for a new billing system for Telenor, the Norwegian Telephone company. Included in this area were multiple complex on-line and batch interfaces to existing Telenor systems, as well as customization of existing Order Processing batch software. Prior to the development phase of this project, I worked extensively on defining requirements for these interfaces. I also managed the system testing of two software releases. Worked on all life cycle phases of the development of a new billing system for Worldcom. Lead analyst on the general and detailed designs of the call record processing system, including the pricing of call records, the summarization of crucial call related information, and the reprocessing of previously priced call records. Lead analyst on the testing and implementation of the Order Processing subsystem. The work in this area included interfaces to existing systems, as well as crucial order processing batch functions and reporting. Managed the User Support Group after the system initially went into production. On a project for Comsat, a major satellite communications company, worked on the detailed design of the call record processing system. My principal area of responsibility was in the message processing subsystem, with an emphasis on the pricing of call records and billing systems.
