I had a pleasure of working with Jeannine over the course of my 4 years on the Willy Street Co-op's Board of Directors. As a Board member, Jeannine is thoughtful, deliberate, and offers valuable insights to discussions. Jeannine really shone during her time as Board President. She is an excellent facilitator, welcoming input from all voices in the room, and able to navigate even highly charged conversations well. She is a strategic thinker, who helps the organization see multiple perspectives on an issue. In addition, Jeannine is highly organized, and keeps moving agenda items forward at an appropriate clip without leaving anyone behind. Her attention to detail and project management skills helped the Board, and the Co-op as a whole, as we navigated complex issues, including COVID19. In addition to all of these positive attributes, Jeannine is also a straight up pleasure to work with. She is compassionate, kind, and a terrific colleague. It's been a pleasure working with her for the past 4 years, and I hope to have the opportunity again some day!

Jeannine has a talent for making everyone feel heard while holding the team accountable to an agenda and key action items. She never once exhibited stress during an extremely stressful time to be the President of the WSGC Board: a time that included staff unionizing, the coop responding to a pandemic, and race and equity issues being in the spotlight. She is articulate, thoughtful, and organized. Her strong character, leadership style, and get-things-done attitude would be an asset to any organization.
