      As lead teacher for the Third Grade classes, I was responsible for the development and implementation of social and academic curricula for Grade 3, and the instruction of all core subject material for up to eighteen students. I was also responsible for coordinating integration of the special subject teachers (Art, Music, Science, Physical Education, Technology, etc.) into the classroom curriculum. I was the recipient of the Bill and Melinda Gates Teacher Leadership Foundation award for integration of technology with classrooms. I was also responsible for providing triennial assessments of all students in all core subject areas. I was also responsible for classroom management as well as the mentorship of various newly hired teachers. My additional responsibilities included Math and Social Studies Curriculum Committee Member, and ICS Emergency Operations Center Team Fire Liaison.
