Jeanne is an exceptionally proactive and responsible young professional with a contagious smile. I truly enjoyed being her direct supervisor at 3 Mariposas Montessori. She and I worked side-by-side in France during the month prior to her departure to the Dominican Republic. Once Jeanne was on-site, we communicated via Skype and email, which was easy given her excellent English and communication skills. An organized leader, Jeanne assumed the liaison role between 3 other interns and me. She managed her team like a champion. Despite demanding to-do lists paired with the challenges of working in a foreign country with little on-site supervision, Jeanne met deadlines and produced excellent work. She eagerly took on diverse responsibilities, from updating our CRM to creating compelling videos for our Mother’s Day campaign, knowing that they would help her grow professionally, as well as benefit the organization. Jeanne was so invested that she offered her help after her internship was over and has done a remarkable job of staying in touch. We recently met to chat about where she’s headed next.
