I reported to Jeanne Everett from August 2015 to May 2018, during which time she was the team leader for an ADB funded project implemented by Plan International Cambodia. The project was called "Mainstreaming Climate Resilience into Development Planning - Civil Society Support Mechanism". The project successfully reached its goal under Jeanne's professional leadership. She was a very supportive manager of a team of 6 subordinates and 6 youth volunteers, and provided crucial guidance and capacity building to 20 sub-grantees which successfully implemented Climate Change Adaptations and Disaster Risk Reduction projects. Throughout the project, Jeanne was highly accountable to Plan International and to its donor. She developed strong working relationships with key stakeholders such as relevant national and local Government Agencies and in particular the Ministry of Environment, development partners and donors, the private sector, civil society, and local community leaders. She ensured that program implementation successfully reached project objectives, achieving high impact, relevance, efficiency and effectiveness. The success of the project was well documented and acknowledged among other practitioners both inside and outside Cambodia.

Jan Jaap Kleinrensink

Jeanne Everett has worked for Plan International Cambodia as a long term consultant and a team leader. During the two years that I have worked with her, she has shown an outstanding professional commitment to get a big job done. She always delivered the goods. On top of this, Jeanne was a strong and most appreciated leader of her team, with a keen sense to motivate staff and support them in overcoming sometimes very challenging hurdles. As a direct supervisor, it was a pleasure working with Jeanne as person - her being transparent and receptive for feedback. Jan Jaap Kleinrensink Plan International Cambodia Country Director
