  I worked as Senior Designer in SingleLife DS. It is a modern fashion company with in-house design and manufacture, and retail services all in one。 I have gained invaluable experiences working within the fast-fashion industry and showed full understanding of the market-driven concept; shorter design and production period given in order to keep up on the latest fashion trends, I pride myself in being able to work under pressure of deadline and contributed to an annual turnover of the business.   I began my first full-time job within the industry at London Izmaylova, it is a rising luxury brand specialised in eveningwears and ready-to-wear pieces for the fashion-forward women. I demonstrated multitasking skills working within this busy studio and was given many opportunities working with celebrities and offered trips to Paris Premiere Vision Exhibition and Fashion Week. My main duties: • Designed and organised production progress, source fabrics and review garment samples • Fully designed and developed AW13 collection, and assisted in designing ranges in SS13 and AW12 collections. • Attended Paris Preimere Vision exhibition for AW13 fabric sourcing and textile trend research • Assisted at backstage during London Fashion Week • Liaised with the pattern cutters to ensure designs being interpreted accordingly and the production team working progress as scheduled. • Presented trends and design concept to design directors, PR and buying teams. • Technical folder included design, lining specs, line sheets and garment details. • Assisted creative team with lookbook and editorial photoshoots. • Researched and organised trip to visit potential suppliers and to seek global production expansion. • The brand dressed mostly UK and America and Chinese celebrities included: American singer Lana Del Ray and Nicole Scherzinger and UK actress Elizabeth Reaser from Twilight, etc. Show less
