Conducting bathymetric surveys up and down the east coast utilizing Knudsen Engineering Echosounder products. These surveys have been the basis for numerous lake dredgings and dam removals/replacements, among other projects. Contours for both water depth and accumulated sediment produced, as well as volume of water and volume sediment. Surveys conducted in both fresh water lakes and tidal areas. Hold the most hours operating Princeton Hydro's 'amphibious vehicle' the Truxor DM5000. This is like a floating tank with hydraulics. Princeton Hydro owns two of these machines (only 4 in America) with numerous attachments. This machine and attachments facilitate numerous lake projects that were previously not possible with conventional equipment. Current attachments include back hoe arm, hydraulic dredge, clam shell bucket, aquatic vegetation cutter and plant/debris collection basket. Projects include small area / spot dredging (streams, outfall deltas), algae and aquatic vegetation cutting and removal, spadderdock removal. Utilize over 20 years of GIS experience on many projects for Princeton Hydro. All bathymetries are modeled in ArcGIS. One interesting project was in-depth modeling of soil contamination, saving the client tens of thousands in remediation costs.Oversee the company's IT operations.

Ran the Department's GIS. Assisted in numerous studies on water quality, plus geese population and their adverse effects. Also took years worth of water quality samping data that sat stagnant in Excel files, and imported them into a custom Access relational database. This database was then linked to the sampling points in GIS. All that "dead data" transformed into stasticts and visual trends for the Water Quality Department. Ran the Department's GIS. This is were I met my current employers - the three owners of Princeton Hydro, LLC. Supported scientists and engineers with data analysis and maps for reports. Performed my first bathymetry(White Meadow Lake, NJ). Also assisted with field work and a ton of data anlaysis for what would later become an award winning project for Princeton Hydro: the Bayonne Golf Club.

    • CAD Specialist
      • Mar 1996 - Feb 1997

My first postion (thank you Tom Lauletta!). Learned CAD and assisted on civil engineering plans. Also on the site inspection team for the Philadelphia Library System assessment project. Assisted project manager with managing a custom Access relational database holding large volumes of data on the Library Assessment. This is when I became a geek for databases.
