The aim of this study is firstly, to reduce the ageing and degradation time of an insulator to observe these property changes. Secondly, to observe this change via integrated metrology on the power electronics system to achieve accurate monitoring. Thirdly, to characterize these ageing processes with the new SiC technologies. During these three years, four research areas in the electrical sector were studied: - Industrial computing - Dielectric materials - Power electronics - Metrology Skills developed: - Project management and autonomy in research/technology monitoring - Speaking at international conferences - Design (CAD) and characterization (Q3D) of power boards with SiC components and fibre optic isolated control. Consideration of their EMC problems. - Integration of electromagnetic probes to obtain their frequency spectra at switching. - Design of high-speed data acquisition cards with isolated optical fiber data transfer. - Study and treatment of electromagnetic effects in environments with strong EM aggression. - Development of a control system on SoC-FPGA development boards including power electronics and acquisition control in VHDL / Verilog languages and several GUIs under the DJANGO Framework (HTML, Python, CSS and JavaScript). - Development of a control system on µC including a power electronics driver in C and C++ and several HMIs in C#, JESD204B Show less
