Gideon Potgieter
When I was responsible for Product Support & Service Planning, Jean Marc was responsible for Quality. I learnt a lot from Jean Marc in terms of Product Quality, the factors that influence it, and how to improve it over time, using continuous improvement techniques. Jean Marc was always open to suggestions of what we discovered in the field. He was also very pro-active by alerting us if he thought that products in the field might have certain behaviour, and requesting feedback from Service & Support in order to use that knowledge in development of new products and its parts, but also to improve the production & logitics processes.

Despite being in a senior role, I found Jean-Marc was always approachable, and took on board ideas from me/others- so helped create a "team mindset" for the Quality groups in each site.
