I conducted research on the circular economy, and particularly on circular business models and circular supply chains. After a 2-years project on reverse logistics in an Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) context, addressing the collection of end of use electrical and electronic equipment (EEE) in the Brussels Capital Region, I analyzed and developed methods and tools to support companies (and in particular incumbent firms) in further identifying, designing and implementing circular business models. I worked in CEEME (Centre d'Expertises en Modélisations et Etudes Economiques), where I assisted senior analysts with their projects. I used methodologies such as Levelized Cost of Energy (LCOE) or Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), and worked on many areas such as electricity production, heat production, CO2 capture and storage, electric vehicles or street lighting. Under my Master 1 internship, I worked on the Strong Electrostatic Adsorption method, a way to synthesize highly dispersed catalysts. My work was to study the adhesion of Palladium particules on a carbon substrate, in order to use this as a cathode material for fuel cells.
