I work with Caritas Rwanda on the position of Graduation Project manager based in Kigali at Caritas Rwanda Headquarters. The program is aiming at improving the self-reliance and livelihoods of refugees and host communities from Mahama and Kiziba refugee camps.KEY RESONSIBILITIES AND AVHIEVEMENTS: Leading the project proposal design and budget planning processes. Organized and lead the implementation of all assigned project activities at all sites. Supervised 14 Caritas Rwanda project staff under Graduation program. Supervised and performed inspections of various processes and resources at project sites. Supported and coordinated capacity building and technical support activities implementation. Coordinated the provision of all logistical and administrative support to the project staff. Organized and facilitated monthly and quarterly project technical meetings. Ensured timely reporting for internal reports and the reports to the donor. Supporting MEL Team in elaborating the M&E plan and ensuring its effective implementation. Support accountability towards central and local governments. Coordinated closely with partners to build cohesive measurement and results systems. Supported in the development of tools (data collection, Terms of Reference, etc.) required to carry out baseline and endline project evaluations. Responded to requests for information on project and on project performance as needed. Organize and coordinate the budget midi-term budget review. I worked with Caritas Rwanda on the position of Project Site Manager at Kigali Urban Site for Graduation Project aiming at improving the self-reliance and livelihoods of refugees and host communities. From January 2020 to September 2021, prior to being promoted to the level of program coordination, I was combining the responsibilities of site manager as well as acting M&E specialist. Key responsibilities and achievements: Organized and led the implementation of all assigned project activities at Kigali Urban Site level and other places neighboring Kigali as outlined in detailed work plan. Supervised 4 Caritas Rwanda project staff and 28 community-based volunteers in their duties. Supporting the Monitoring and Evaluation specialist in elaborating the M&E tools and ensuring its effective implementation. Coordinated the elaboration of beneficiaries’ Income Generating Activities based on market analysis for the self-employment promotion. Coordinated the cash grant request and disbursement to Persons of Concern (PoC) and ensure its rational use towards the achievement of their self-reliance. Assisted the M&E specialist in preparing reports submitted to UNHCR, MINEMA and other partners. Represent Caritas Rwanda at the district partnership platforms including JADF, DPEM activities. Coordinating the process of collecting, analysing, and interpreting data. I worked with Caritas Rwanda on the position of District Building Resilience Officer in charge of Economic Strengthening based in Karongi District under USAID funded Gimbuka Program and USAID Gikuriro program. Key responsibilities and achievements: Provided technical support and capacity building to the Community Health Workers (CHWs) and local leaders to carry out community-based interventions which directly address nutrition issues for vulnerable pregnant / lactating women and children under two years of age. Ensured effective coordination of agricultural and economic strengthening interventions which build the capacity of project beneficiaries to improve their well-being. Coordinated the services focused on orphans and other vulnerable children (OVC) and their families, with a particular focus on families affected by HIV and AIDS. Provided technical support to community Intermediaries in line with savings groups activities monitoring and mentoring. Ensured effective identification of beneficiaries’ Income Generating Activities to be financed by Gimbuka program. worked with Tubibe Amahoro Organization on the position of Field Officer in charge of Village Savings and Lending Activities implementation under VSLA Scale Up project financed by Care International.
