  I am a graduate student in Peter Voorhees' group studying coarsening in solid liquid systems, specifically the lead-tin eutectic system. My work consists of both 3D experimental characterization of alloys processed on the International Space Station and simulations of the coarsening process using the Akaiwa-Voorhees model.
