JD makes things happen, and he makes things happen in less time than most people do. He manages projects well, and while speed is important, he never compromises on quality. His passion for good design really shows in his work - for JD, it is a never-ending search for better user/customer experience. He is a goldmine of ideas and a great asset for any team who wants to build better, customer-centric products.
Dodge Ronquillo
JD, or Jode as we called him then, was a guy with so much passion for product, user experience, and testing, that he was tasked with launching a bare bones idea, and he did so. But not without constant checking, testing, finding ways around problems. He was very creative at solving things that needed solving. He was also so passionate about end users, that he wouldn’t be afraid to get into constructive arguments about a product or feature we would build — I really appreciated his input in a lot of these things, especially when we were building out our product. What I appreciate the most is how he does all these things without an ego. He was leading some projects, and then got moved to other products with other heads, and eventually worked with my project — but he never made an issue about reporting lines or who was leading it. He just wanted to get the job done, and ensure we were all aligned in doing so. If you want a learner, growth mindset, no ego and frills, customer-centric guy, JD is the one you want.

Worked directly with C-level executives and General Managers. Helped and taught different Product Managers of the different business units within the conglomerate to address their customer's needs, grow their business, and craft the strategy for their product roadmap. Involved in the whole product lifecycle, from conceptualization, validation, development, growth, and scale. Currently focused on retail e-commerce activation and implementation of headless commerce strategy. Launched two ec-ommerce stores for multibillion peso companies starting January and have already generated more than 10-figures in sales combined. One has already reached 400x of the annual sales target in just 7 months. More importantly, we were able to serve thousands of Filipinos during the Covid-19 lockdown by going digital and adopting an agile mindset. Show less
