Dave Thorpe joined Radian in 2018 where he leads Radian's land planning and entitlement services. He holds a Masters of Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Minnesota and a Bachelors of Arts in Religion from Whitworth University, which, as it turns out, is the perfect background for his work on the Congregation Land Campaign - a joint effort of Radian and the Interfaith Alliance of Colorado to work with faith communities to build affordable housing. Dave has a background in entitlements, site planning, graphics, illustration, and transportation, which he combines to help clients develop and then achieve a vision for their site. Dave is driven by the pursuit of stewardship of land, both in urban and rural area. This also motivates him in his side hustle of landscape oil paintings, but that's another story for another time. Dave plays mandolin, drinks gluten-free beer (not by choice), is married and has two kids, and likes going on early morning runs with his dog. He takes the work seriously but not himself and he wrote this whole little bio in third person.
