I had the pleasure of having Jazmyne Martin-McDonald on my team as part of the Western Region of the National Black Law Students Association (WRBLSA). Jazmyne served as the Western Regional Director of the Pre-Law Division and also stepped up to serve as the Western Regional Director of Community Service. Jazmyne always had a positive attitude and worked diligently to plan different community service events for the Region. Among other projects, Jazmyne planned and coordinated the Region's Rock the Vote Education Day, where nearly 50 law students taught a group of black middle-schoolers about felony disenfranchisement as well as pathways to the legal profession. She was awarded WRBLSA Board Member of the Year during the 47th Annual WRBLSA Convention in Long Beach, CA, in January 2015. Jazmyne is a super star and has a bright future career ahead of her.
