I own an art gallery and I have hired Jay on many occasions to help with hanging new shows. He takes initiative and uses his experience and skills to either execute a plan or in the event we don't have a set plan, he can develop a plan. He is very precise to ensure that work is hung in a professional manner, takes care of the artwork and has a great sense of design. I have also hired him to cover the gallery when I am out of town and he is personable, knowledgeable and I completely trust him to do a good job with our guests.

Assistant Manager at the Barnes Foundation Shop, located on Philadelphia's "museum mile", the Benjamin Franklin Parkway. A leader in its industry, the Barnes Shop's product selection focuses on hand-crafted, artisanal gifts and jewelry, and high-quality reproductions of Impressionist, Post-Impressionist, and early Modernist paintings and objects in the collection. Apart from managing the daily activities of shop personnel, I am also a key player in the development of unique Barnes-related products offered in the store. As their leader, I coordinate a professional team dedicated to providing our guests with an excellent level of service, with attention to detail. My goal is to provide our visitors the highest level of service in the industry, while also serving the educational mission of the foundation. To meet those goals, I develop and execute all training in the shop. Member of the Core Values & Steering Committee, and Chairperson of the Safety Committee. As part of my professional contribution to the field of non-profit retail, I am a proud member of the Museum Store Association, and active at the regional and national levels. For the 2019 conference in San Diego, I presented a session entitled "Leveraging Innovative Resources for Custom Product Development and Visual Merchandising". I also serve as the Secretary (2019-2020) of the Mid-Atlantic Regional Chapter of the Museum Store Association. The Barnes Foundation, established in 1922, promotes appreciation of the arts and horticultural science, through the preservation, presentation, and interpretation of the collections of Albert C. and Laura L. Barnes. The Barnes Foundation's art collection includes works by some of the greatest European and American masters of Impressionism, Post-impressionist, and early Modern art, as well as African sculpture, Pennsylvania German decorative arts, Native American textiles, ironwork, and more.
