As the DPM am responsible for all the Program Managers duties in his absence, as well as enforcing and executing the prime contractors and USG Statement of Work (SOW) to comply with all contract requirements. As the Training Manager supervise the programs 20 technical and flight courses, as well as supervising 22 academic instructors to ensure they all comply with DoD standards as described in the Programs of Instruction (POI) received from Fort Rucker and Fort Eustis and enforce that all Terminal Learning Objectives (TLOs) are met. Verify and approve all changes being made to course practical exercises, exams, flight training guides and course management plans, so they are IAW US Army DoD regulations and standards. Review all course requirements for training to make sure the Operations Officer makes the appropriate coordination’s for tools, classrooms and special equipment required for training. Oversee the calendar year schedule creation to ensure all classes scheduled are being planned with the student to instructor ratio that is approved per the POI and the appropriate adjustments of classes, so that an instructor that teaches multiple courses is not over scheduled or creates a conflict in the calendar. Review end of course critiques to capture all student positive and negative comments to develop courses of actions if needed to improve each course. Developed and provided a course description document for all 20 Aviation Maintenance and Flight courses to the SCO US Army Mission, so they could present to LATAM countries taking part in the ARWTC program, in order to provide prior familiarization with the course purpose, phase of scope, DoD standard and prerequisites.
