Jay Ross is the perfect example of the exemplary lawyers we have at Hopkins & Carley. Not only is he a terrific person who instantly connects with colleagues and clients and who is well-known and well-regarded in our community. He also is smart and tenacious as he successfully pursues the interests of his clients. I can't imagine a better lawyer for real estate, construction, and land use disputes.

I joined Hopkins & Carley out of law school, and became a shareholder of the firm in 1997. I am a business litigator, with an empahsis on dirt-related disputes: real estate transactions; construction contracts, statutory remedies, and defects; commercial landlord/tenant; land use; and easements. My practice also includes creditor's rights work, such as collections and creditor-side bankruptcy. From litigation avoidance, to pre-trial resolutions, to trial, I use my 20+ years of experience to bring a practical approach and business focus to every case.
