  Working in a CNC machine shop I was able to perform different maintenance responsibilities around shop, the CNC machines, and other machines as well. I learned to use the scissor lift, forklift, and a large band saw, at work we had to be trained and pass test in order to operate. It was a good experience learning how a production line works, and how important each step is in making the part exactly how the customer wants it made. It is also exciting to see a product made into a part straight from raw materials. Show less

  I worked as a Surveyor for 6 summers for Meridian Engineering Inc. There I was able to operate a GPS and robotic stations, where I worked on construction projects and located utility and roadway infrastructure for construction. Established boundary locations and land parcel corners. Preformed land topography to assist the mapping of site utilities and site improvements and corridor mapping for design. Most of the time I worked as a rod men in preforming these activities. However, it has helped me gain a larger understanding the construction process. Show less
