Jaydon wrote my CV for me after 18 years of it not being updated! We had a telephone conversation with me for 1 hour to understand what I wanted from it... and most importantly what and how future employers would see me; first day of me sending it out in the field I secured my first Interview. He must have done something right! Thanks Jaydon. A professional self starter who I would most definitely recommend to a future employer.

Jaydon is a fantastically generous person with keen insight into the HR system and what hiring managers are looking for. During a recent period of uncertainty he helped me review my CV and his insight and suggestions enabled me to reshape how I present myself in succinct and digestible format. I have no doubt his help played a key part in helping me keep my job. I cannot recommend him enough as a trusted and effective HR practitioner.

At Lifestory I am part of a young HR team that was less than a year old when I joined. Within this role I design and implement positive change strategies; creating a more highly effective and efficient workforce. Additionally I manage our resourcing process from carrying out a gap analysis, through to advertising roles, interviewing and offer; ensuring the organisation's values are adopted throughout the entire process while also diversifying the workforce. In addition, due to the knowledge and experience I bring to the team, I have been integral in the integration following recent mergers and acquisitions, taking command in reductions to headcount where required.

My main responsibilities were to control the TUPE process, verifying that all data was 100% correct without exception. Ensuring full compliance with DBS and safeguarding legislation. ER case management; implementing the process of offering training to managers in relation to the disciplinary and grievance process, and performance and attendance management. I was able to mentor the HR administrator during the final stages of their CIPD Level 3. At CH&Co I was based in Reading, however, after 6 months I was moved into Central London to provide front line operational guidance throughout the business. This support included; advising and playing a major role in strategic reviews and structural change processes, consulting on issues relating to employee relations and performance management. Also, I had a hands-on role throughout the TUPE process. I was instrumental in implementing a new HR & Payroll System (iTrent), and resourcing high potential talent through attending career fairs on a regular basis.

This role was a mixture of; recruitment, HR and payroll administration. I ran weekly and monthly reports from the electronic hand scanning system to calculate hours for payroll purposes; Implementing a new payroll query process due to the inefficiencies with the signing in and out mechanism, which lead to handling issues in a more methodical and efficient manner. In terms of recruitment I helped to recruit new hourly paid staff through; screening CV’s, contacting candidates and conducting telephone and face to face interviews. I would then also carry out inductions for new starters. The HR side of this role was ER case management, for which I again implemented a case management tracking system, and processing leavers including conducting exit interviews, which I implemented in order to gather data to help improve employee retention and relations.

My role here was split into HR, payroll and training. I ran finance reports using data from a Time Management System (Mitrefinch), managing any absence through accurate record keeping and analysing trends. I would also compile contracts, offer letters, and any other communicative documentation required on a day to day basis. Scheduled and attended disciplinary, grievance & investigation meetings. The final part of this role was to keep the training matrix up to date, identifying any gaps in required skills; arranging training through internal or external training providers.
