In just five years, Jaydeep Anand has secured a 100% LEED Platinum operational portfolio and UL’s 3 Star SPIRE Smart Building Rating for his Dubai properties, the first and only hotel group in the world to do so. From boardroom to construction site to floors of operation, Anand’s dedication to living and breathing the FIVE brand alongside his 1500+ strong team has led him to secure six ISO’s covering every element of operations. This includes ISO 50001 (Energy Management System) of which FIVE is the only 5 star hotel in the UAE to maintain. Further, within FIVE’s future-focused energy strategy, Anand has made history amidst the UAE’s ‘Year of Sustainability’ with FIVE becoming the first hotel in the UAE to receive International Renewable Energy Certificates (I-REC). This resulted in achieving 100% renewable electricity for both Dubai hotels. Proving financial and sustainability alignment and keeping focused on cost-analysis driven execution, Anand accelerates FIVE’s growth. Under his leadership the group posts figures that rocket past its peers with FIVE ranking #1 in RevPar, TrevPar, F&BPar, and ADR, running a 90%+ average occupancy and maintaining a 510% margin in google searches, compared to other luxury brands.
