Responsibility includes progress monitoring of Field Instrumentation Engineering and Control system Engineering with various Epcm’s, LSTK’s, BOOT operators and Construction contractors in strict adherence of laid down project philosophy. ☺ Have involved in deciding the plant control system among various vendor bids. ☺ Involved in deciding instrumentation philosophy to be followed for the project, along with project management consultant (PMC). ☺ Involved in selection of compressors and control system among various vendors for the units in refinery. ☺ Involved in finalising the technical specifications for selecting field instrumentation with EPCm’s/LSTK’s. ☺ Providing technical ranking on Instrumentation bids and selection of vendors based on technical ranking for procurement activity. ☺ Participation in bid clarification / Kick-off and review meetings. ☺ Involved in HAZOP and SIL meetings. ☺ Attended inspection of Instrument items during various manufacturing stages at vendor sites to check the compliances. ☺ Attended the control system FAT’s for various units. ☺ Follow-up with Engg Contractors and Vendors for monitoring project progress. ☺ Preparing and presenting project reports. ☺ Training the Graduate / Diploma trainee’s for the project commissioning and maintenance requirement.
