Key Responsibilities Assigned: + Designing of inventory norms for all critical RMs based on prevailing economic scenario. + Formulation of Deduction norms for all RMs in case of deviation from standard quality specs. + Ensuring planning of RM (SS, MS, Ferro Alloys & Other Consumables) for next 3 Month production forecast cycle, as per the concept of optimization such that cheapest RM cost input can be achieved while not comprising the safe inventory of every material by taking into consideration the lead time from point of purchase to point of usage. + Planning of SS & MS Scrap, Ferro Alloys, Refractories & other process consumables for Jindal Stainless Ltd. from various domestic & imported sources to ensure smooth & continuous operation of the plant while maintaining safety stock norms and organization profitability. + Generation of MIS reports & presentation for strategic planning and to keep track of the past & current performance of plant across different bench marked parameters. + Ensuring Smooth and timely running of day to day SAP operations along with formulation of strategy as per new requirements and for streamlining the ERP implementation. + Developing long-term partnerships with domestic & overseas suppliers, managing supplier performance to ensure meeting of service, cost, delivery and quality norms. + Consistently evaluating vendor performance to ensure adherence to predefined specifications and supply of quality material. + Works closely with Planning, Production, Stores and Logistics teams to ensure smooth availability of material at plant. Monitor BPR to ensure sufficient material in pipeline.
