Jay and I worked together as part of an internship team that assisted a local company Kombucha Town in attaining USDA Organic Certification. He proved himself to be a powerhouse of productive energy and forward momentum. Jay did much of the direction communications with organizations to sift through the supply chain complexities we were faced with. He helped us as a team determine which ingredients had the least cost burden and which would best address Kombucha Town's needs. Jay is a hard worker and a go-getter. He played his part exceptionally well and I'm glad we had him on the team.

My impact was the strongest on the digital side. I brought in Untappd to help expand the craft beer program and to improve ordering efficiency at the bar and tables. I improved the social media presence by creating consistent and quality social media content, more than tripling the average reach and engagement per post. My experience at Tony's also included event organization, operations management, bartending, beer inventory management, staff training, POS expertise, and kicking out dickheads. I worked with a team to get Kombucha Town USDA Organic and non-GMO certified. This process included filling out paperwork, communicating with government and private companies to ensure that the kombucha ingredients were certified organic and non-GMO certified. For the ingredients that were not certified we researched and talked to suppliers that had certified products and created a short list that included pricing guides and size and distribution information for the Kombucha Town owner so that he could make a final decision on who he wanted his suppliers to be.
