  Office and field work to include applying classroom and lab knowledge to key watershed issues including coastal resiliency and erosion, wind pattern analysis, climate changes, sustainable energies, and biodiversity. Obtained a VA Department of Wildlife Resources boating safety certification and drove Patricia Campbell, a customized 60-foot oyster restoration vessel to transport and place hatchery-produced seed oysters onto sanctuary reefs throughout the Bay watershed.
