      Jay was part of senior management team performing various roles and worked on the delivery (temporary and permanent works) of various traditional and design and build construction projects in central London valued over £250m.He is highly experienced in complex temporary works design, coordination, construction and dismantling.       Jay worked on the delivery of a New Nuclear power station at Hinckley Point C valued at £20 billon. He was in charge of building a Temporary Jetty and a Wharf valued at £70 m and £35 m respectively. He performed the role of Project delivery Manager, managing a consultant Engineering firm under a framework agreement for both a temporary Jetty and a permanent wharf. Two civil engineers, two quantity Surveyors, a scheduler, a document controller and a CDM coordinator supported him. He was in charge of managing the design phase of a Design and Build Contract under NEC 3 conditions of contracts for the mechanical and electrical design of a cement pile line and an aggregates conveyor to be placed on the jetty for the main civil works construction of HPC. Jay was also in charge of the schedule and preparing and updating the project risk registers to make sure all planning, design, services, interfaces, commercial & pricing risks were assessed and mitigated if necessary. He organised workshops involving all stakeholders for both projects to assess and mitigate all types of risks. He worked closely with rest of the New Nuclear Build Construction team and contributed technical expertise as well as project management skills

      Jay worked as a Project Manager (Civils works) for Skanska SRW. Jay worked on the delivery of various projects - building data centres for different clients including the Ministry of Defence and Goldman Sachs among others. Jay was also involved with tender submissions to win new work. From September 2006, Jay worked for Skanska construction - Private sector for the construction of various buildings in central London valued over £800m in total. Jay undertook overall responsibility for all engineering matters and was responsible for management and supervision of subcontractors and suppliers for the temporary works including demolition and permanent works and meeting local authority and statutory obligations.       Jay was Mouchel’s sole site representative in the Dominican Republic working on behalf of Dubai Ports World carrying out a refurbishment and extension of Caucedo Port. Utilising his bilingual skills in English and Spanish as the client’s representative, Jay supervised the contractors work. The extension of the port included prestressed driven piles installation and the construction of 1km of reinforced concrete rubber tyre gantry lanes among other structures. His achievements were outstanding, delivering the project on programme whilst maintaining a 100% safety record on site by implementing UK health and safety best practice.From September 2005, Jay was responsible for the construction project management of two waste treatment plants valued at £110 million. The superstructure consisted of a Bio-MRF (Mechanical Biological Treatment Facility) building which was concrete frame manufactured with precast superstructure elements, and a survival bag MRF building which was steel frame erected. In addition he managed the construction of steel frame and masonry administration buildings and supervised the construction of electrical and mechanical equipment for the plants’ operation. The plants were delivered on time and on budget and are currently processing approximately 360.000 tons of house waste per yearIn Nov 2004 Jay joined Rail Group within Mouchel as a senior project engineer. From a sound technical and academic base in structural engineering, Jay developed further technical understanding of structures. Alongside developing technical knowledge Jay also developed his project and resource management skills within Mouchel Group.Jay joined Mouchel as a Bridge and Structures Engineer in Jan 2003. He worked on the M25 sphere maintenance contract.
